Not only did India meet this target, but it also surpassed it, reaching ₹8.2 lakh crore in exports by 2025.

But India surpassed this target with 11.5 crore accounts, thereby setting the stage for financial inclusion at an exponential scale.

As of today, nearly 58 crore Jan Dhan accounts have been opened, unlocking access to banking services, insurance, and government benefits for millions of Indians. Accelerating Water Conservation Efforts

The Jal Shakti Abhiyan, a key water conservation initiative, had set an ambitious goal to build 10 lakh groundwater recharge structures by 2025. However, India exceeded this target by constructing 27 lakh structures in 2024, surpassing the goal by over 2.7 times.

India’s commitment to sustainability was further demonstrated through the COP26 Panchamrit goals. The target set was to achieve 50% non-fossil power capacity by 2030. In an incredible feat, India reached 51% non-fossil power capacity by 2025, five years ahead of the deadline.
